About VertData & methodology

How we research, source and update everything on this site.

VertData is an independent research site about Quant Network (QNT). It is built to be sourced, dated and boring in the best way: facts with links, no hype.

Not financial advice. Not financial advice. VertData is an independent research site. It makes no price predictions and gives no buy or sell recommendations. Crypto-assets are volatile and you can lose all the money you put in. Do your own research.

Independence

VertData is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Quant Network Ltd or any of its partners. “Quant”, “QNT” and “Overledger” are names used by their respective owners and are used here only to identify the subject of our research. We do not use Quant's logos. We have no commercial relationship with Quant Network Ltd, and QNT is not given to us in exchange for coverage.

Funding and affiliate links

At launch the site carries no affiliate links and no advertising. If we add affiliate links later (for example for exchanges or hardware wallets), they will be clearly labelled, will never change what we write, and exchange links may be hidden in jurisdictions where promotion is restricted, such as the UK.

Sourcing rules

  • Every factual claim must link to a source. Prefer primary sources: the partner's own release, a regulator or central bank document, Quant's announcement, or the blockchain itself.
  • Reputable secondary sources (for example Kraken Learn, Reuters, FT, CoinDesk) may be used with a note that they are secondary.
  • Rumours, social-media-only claims and logo walls are excluded.
  • Anything we cannot verify is labelled unverified or left out.
  • Some partner sites block automated checkers. Where we could only confirm a page through search results, the tracker entry says so.

Partner & adoption tracker

Entries are added manually and reviewed before publishing. There is no automatic publishing. Each entry has a status: live (running in production per the source), pilot (trial, lab or limited programme), announced (agreed or planned, not shown as live), or completed (the project or experiment has finished). Each carries a date and a last-checked date. See the tracker.

Supply dashboard

The supply dashboard reads the QNT token contract through a public Ethereum RPC endpoint, takes top-holder data from Ethplorer's free API, and shows commonly reported supply figures from the Blockworks token filing and CoinGecko. It is refreshed once a day and shows its timestamp. Address labels are only added when verified from a public source, so exchange share is a lower bound.

Corrections

If you find an error, email support@vertdata.com. We correct the page and add a dated note.
